Meet Dr. Juana
Dr. Juana Hollingsworth is a scholar, speaker, and strategist with over 15 years of experience transforming educational spaces across K–12 and higher education. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Social Work, with an emphasis in trauma-informed care, from the University of Northern Iowa.

She earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Morgan State University, where her research examined the labor of Black women leading Black Student Unions at Predominantly White Institutions. Her broader work examines racial equity, online harassment in academic spaces, and trauma-informed student affairs practices.
She currently serves as an Academic Advisor at Johns Hopkins University and has facilitated over 30 national workshops, trainings, and keynotes. Whether in the classroom, on stage, or in consultation with institutional leaders, Juana equips institutions and individuals to transform intent into action—building spaces rooted in care, clarity, and equitable leadership.
